Less than a half hour from Tyler, Texas is a traditional IM opportunity that may be just what you’ve been searching for. That is if you seek an Internal Medicine practice that incorporates inpatient and outpatient work ... and pays pretty darn good!

The starting salary of this employed Texas IM opportunity is $190k. But you’re also rewarding for the hard work you invest in the practice with a very generous production bonus.

To “sweeten” your Internal Medicine employment offer even more, you’re also entitled to:

  • A Full Benefits package including paid malpractice
  • 3 weeks vacation -- with pay (the joys of employment!)
  • Call schedule will be 1:4 or 1:5 (get your life back)
  • $3K CME allowance and 1 week paid CME per year
  • $20K signing bonus (buy a horse or a truck!)
  • $8K relocation allowance

Your “Work” Environment for This East Texas Internal Medicine Opportunity

The not-for-profit, hospital is a 94-bed facility. Besides the aforementioned 30 active staff physicians, there are also 50 courtesy staff members.

Services at the facility include (in alphabetical order!): anesthesiology; cardiology; family practice; gastroenterology; general surgery; internal medicine; OB/GYN; oncology; ophthalmology; orthopedic surgeon; otolaryngology; pathology; pediatrics; podiatry: radiology; and urology.

You also have modern diagnostic services at your disposal. Here you’ll find a fully equipped laboratory and radiology department with X-ray, CT scanner, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, stereotactic mammography, EEG, EKG, a GI laboratory and mobile MRI. (...say ‘cheese’)

The Level III trauma center supports a 24-hour emergency department with a fully equipped, 24-hour emergency department with ground ambulance service and Air 1 emergency helicopter. There’s also an outpatient oncology clinic staffed with physician specialists. To further enhance services to our community, we have an outpatient cardiac rehabilitation in a fully equipped facility with monitoring by cardiac specialists.

All-in-all, it’s a fine example of a smaller facility taking full advantage of being in a 14-hospital network. It’s large enough to offer the latest technology and small enough to maintain focus on the individual patient. It’s an excellent blend of professional services and offers something for everyone.
